HD Construction Equipment Develon Europe s.r.o. is a global industry leader in the engineering, manufacturing and marketing of compact and heavy construction equipment. The company has a broad product offering, including crawler and wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, mini-excavators and attachments for rental, construction, quarrying, mining and general industry worldwide.
We are looking for pro-active, positive and responsible person with ability to think globally, good team-member for position HR Generalist.
Position summary
To provide a broad range of Human Resources Generalist functions to support the goals and objectives of the company which operates in 12 European countries. Provide consultation on content and process to individual managers or client groups in areas including but not limited to: employee relations, policies and procedures, HRIS data management, benefits, compensation, talent management, performance management, employee development, staffing, recruiting and organizational change..
The candidate must have Czech language at a native level and a native-like level of English. Any other European language will be an asset.
Main responsibility
Onboarding/Offboarding & Personnel Administration
- Responsible for the whole life-cycle of employees from onboarding to offboarding in the company
- Administration: creation and management of employment contracts, addendums, agreements, etc.
- Perform day to day duties related to employee hires and departures administration, time and attendance, temporaries, contractors, etc.
HRIS Management
- Administer the SF Human Resources Information System (HRIS) keeping the system updated with all new hires, terminations, and any other organizational changes of employee data and history
Staffing and Recruiting
- Assist in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques
- Administer internal job posting system
- Recruit, interview, and participate in the selection process
Talent Management
- Guide employees on training of Management By Objectives (MBO) & Competency Model (DCM) process
- Assist managers with succession planning and development discussions
- Employee training opportunities and continuing education
Internal Communication
- Write, edit and create clear, consistent, high-quality communications and materials for all DEU employees through mediums such as the company announcements, intranet, memos/email, internal marketing communications, and ad hoc and routine communications for diverse internal constituencies
- Ensure consistency of messaging globally, individual alignment with corporate strategy, and culture building through communications
- Prepare and assist in townhall meeting and other communication activities for DEU employees
Payroll
- Working with payroll manager and provide necessary data
Salary/Benefit Administration
- Advises and assists managers and supervisors in all job or salary related problems or issues
- Prepares monthly / year-end reports as needed to meet local and corporate requirements
- Site contact for benefit/payroll related questions; new hires, terms, open enrollment, etc.
- Cooperation and communication with external providers and suppliers
Global Mobility
- Immigration and visas: cooperate with agencies on handling work permits, residence paperwork, and legal compliance for incoming expats and departing expatriates
- Manage and overview immigration documents' renewals and changes
- Provide support and guidance to company expatriates
Employee Relations
- Recommend, develop and implement employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship and support the overall effectiveness of the organization
- Provide guidance and counsel to employees and supervisors relative to policy administration and interpretation
- Act as a liaison between employees and company leadership
This is a position that deals with confidential information.
Must have strong people and organizational skills and ability to assist employees.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Requirements
- Human Resources - Bachelors Degree /Allow Equivalent
- Native in Czech language and C1/C2 level of English; any other EU language will be an asset
- Knowledge of labor regulations
- Organizing training session and role out experience
- Ideally experience with SAP SF
- Strong ability to use MS Office
- Skill in both verbal and written communication
- Teamwork skills
- Experience: 3-5 years at same/similar position
- Global Breadth: Multi-Site (12 countries)
- Travel standard: <20%
