Role Overview:

For our customer, a well-established international manufacturing company operating within a high-volume production environment, we are currently looking for an experienced Production Manager who will take responsibility for leading a production area, achieving operational targets, driving performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

This role combines strong people leadership with a focus on operational excellence, KPI management, continuous improvement, and process optimization. A key part of the position will also involve supporting warehouse automation initiatives and driving improvements across operational processes.

This position will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure production activities are executed in line with customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
• Drive operational performance through active KPI management and continuous monitoring of key production metrics.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and evaluate supervisors and their teams.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources while maintaining productivity and cost targets.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement corrective actions when required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Support and participate in warehouse automation and process optimization projects.
• Monitor operational performance, identify deviations, and implement improvement measures.
• Prepare regular reporting, analyses, and operational reviews for management.
• Cooperate closely with HR on workforce planning and organizational development.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and customer requirements.

What Will You Need To Succeed:

• Previous experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Production Area Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing production teams through supervisors or shift leaders.
• Strong focus on operational excellence, KPI management, and performance delivery.
• Experience driving productivity improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and achieve demanding operational targets.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
