What will be the core responsibilities of this position:

• You will manage the operation and maintenance of building technical systems, either directly or in cooperation with facility technicians and suppliers.
• You will lead negotiations with existing and new suppliers.
• You will track and evaluate utility consumption.
• You will recommend investments in order to upgrade building technological equipment.
• You will also oversees the maintenance and renewal of indoor and outdoor green areas, internal access roads (driveways, parking lots), as well as sports fields and recreational areas.

What will be your daily tasks and activities:

• Managing an in-house team of facility technicians, focusing primarily on daily scheduling and leave planning.
• Responsibility for the operation of building technical systems (HVAC).
• Control and management of the maintenance and service costs.
• Supervision of regular servicing and mandatory statutory inspections of building services (MEP).
• Handling required procurement for the workshop and groundskeeping.
• Responsibility for the maintenance and landscaping of green areas.
• Coordination of the gardener and external contractors for landscaping, grounds maintenance, and related installations.
• Making sure that the maintenance of machinery and equipment used for groundskeeping is done in timely manner and in accordance with budgets.
• Managing overall budget and costs for landscaping, grounds upkeep, and sports field equipment.
• Collaboration with the Maintenance and Sports Departments to support extracurricular activities and events (tournaments, food fairs, Gala).

What knowledge and skills you should have:

• Leadership & Coordination: Proven ability to manage an internal team and coordinate external suppliers.
• Shift Planning & Scheduling: Expertise in organising and planning work shifts.
• Budgeting & Cost Estimation: Experience in preparing and processing data for cost budgets.
• Procurement & Tender Management: Ability to organise and lead vendor selection processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on proposing effective solutions.
• Communication & Assertiveness: Excellent communication skills with an assertive approach.

It will be an advantage if you can

• Education: High school diploma or university degree required
• IT Skills: Proficient computer literacy (PC skills)
• Technical Knowledge: Preferred knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS/BMS-BACS) and Building Services (MEP)
• Maintenance Expertise: Advantageous knowledge of playground equipment maintenance and landscaping/greenery care
• Driving License: Category B driving license
• Language Skills: English in conversational level
