Who you'll work for

Our client is a well-established global company with a finance organisation spanning multiple countries. You'll join an international Record-to-Report team with a structured close calendar, ERP and reporting tools (JDE etc.) and a SOX-compliant control environment. It's the kind of setup where you learn how accounting is done properly at scale, and it looks very good on your CV.

What you'll actually do

• Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities from journals, accruals and provisions to reclasses and adjustments
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations in BlackLine and clear open and aged items
• Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations, and track down differences
• Run bank and cash reconciliations
• Support HFM reporting through data validation, adjustments and reporting requirements
• Investigate unusual movements in balance sheet and P&L accounts and explain what's behind them
• Be the go-to person for internal and external audit requests
• Spot process gaps and help drive standardisation and automation (your ideas will actually be heard)
• Work with AP, AR, Treasury, FP&A, Tax and Controlling colleagues across the globe

What you bring

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Hands-on experience in R2R / General Ledger accounting
• Month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP, JDE or similar
• BlackLine and/or HFM experience is a big plus
• Solid Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail
• An analytical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to deliver under deadlines
• Confident communication in English with finance and non-finance people
