Second Foundation is an international energy trading and asset management firm headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, with offices in Switzerland, Germany, Japan and the US. Our team of 500 plus professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modelling.

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our Prague team, working across both Dispatching and BESS Application Support.

What you would work on?

• Oversee the daily operations of our energy asset portfolio, including BESS, cogeneration units, biogas plants, and large-scale consumption facilities.
• Communicate with customers and partners regarding asset performance and operational matters.
• Support the planning and optimization of energy flexibility based on current market conditions.
• Become an expert on our internally developed BESS solution and provide first-line support for incidents and requests.
• Analyze technical data, identify potential root causes, and coordinate incident resolution with internal development teams.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to improve our tools, monitoring, alerting, and incident-handling processes.

What makes you a great candidate?

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with L1 application support or system administration is a plus.
• A proactive and responsible approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in Czech and at least B2-level English.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including spreadsheets and reporting.
• Electrotechnical education or previous dispatching experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work a flexible shift schedule.
