About the role

The logistics Operations Officer will Operate the shipments with suppliers, coordinate with 3PL, sales until the end customers. Responsibilities include arranging transportation, handling documentations, reports, and performing other related activities or tasks as assigned.

The position will be based in Philippines.

What You Will Do

  • Handle end-to-end logistic activities.

  • Have a knowledge of import/export regulation and must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may happen.

  • Handle import/ export procedures including customs formalities and documentation.

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents in terms of freight charge negotiation, accurate import/ export declaration, and other logistic activities.

  • Evaluate and optimize all related cost of products, transportation, import and warehousing.

  • Perform the warehousing and inventory record and control on ERP systems.

  • Closely coordinate with warehouse team for the material receiving and order fulfilment.

  • Handle the order management and monitor sales orders including truck booking, planning and document preparation.

  • Perform the transportation claim report.

  • Monitor logistic payment plan and verify logistic bills.

  • Manage department documentation, reports, and filing.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the effi cient and eff ective functioning of thework unit.

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics and Warehouse Management or in a similar role (Solar ordistribution business would be advantageous)

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain/ logistics management, or a similar fi eld preferred.

  • Strong planning skill and knowledge of supply chain, import and export, inventory management and distribution.

  • Very good English in both writing and speaking.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and having ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.

  • Aggressive negotiating skills and assertive.

  • Commercial contract experience is preferred.

  • Strong analytical thinking, positive mindset and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and complete department tasks as assigned.

  • Experience to work across multiple functions and countries.

  • Profi ciency in Microsoft Offi ce and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
