About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Time Management Specialist with knowledge of Austrian payroll processes to join an international HR Operations team in Prague.
Our client, a leading global company, is currently undergoing a major HR transformation, including the implementation of a new Time & Attendance system.
In this role, you will ensure smooth day-to-day payroll and time management operations, support data accuracy and compliance, and collaborate with international HR and Payroll teams during the transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and validate Time & Attendance data, including working hours, absences, overtime and leave records.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Apply your knowledge of Austrian payroll processes and relevant local requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll and attendance data.
- Support employees and HR stakeholders with payroll-related and time management queries.
- Collaborate with international HR, Payroll and IT teams.
- Prepare reports, perform data quality checks and support compliance activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of a new Time & Attendance system.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience with Austrian payroll processes is essential.
- Experience in Payroll Operations, HR Services or Time & Attendance.
- Understanding of Austrian payroll requirements, working time regulations and absence management.
- Experience with SAP, Workday or other HR/payroll systems is an advantage.
- Good command of English.
- German language skills are an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in an international shared services environment is a plus.
- Proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
