International Insurance & Brokerage Group 

Are you an experienced insurance professional with a strong understanding of the Czech market, broker distribution, and regulatory environment? Would you like to take a leading role in developing and representing the Czech branch of an international insurance and brokerage group?

We are looking for a Branch Manager who will combine commercial leadership, relationship management, and regulatory oversight to support the continued growth of the business in the Czech market.

This is a highly visible position with significant autonomy and direct exposure to international senior leadership.

What will be your responsibility?

• Business Development & Market Growth
• Develop and strengthen the company's presence in the Czech market.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with insurance brokers, intermediaries, and strategic partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
• Monitor business pipeline performance and support the achievement of commercial targets.
• Represent the company at meetings, industry events, and partner discussions.

Branch Leadership

• Act as the key representative of the Czech branch.
• Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
• Coordinate local activities with international group stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of local business strategies and initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable Czech and European regulatory requirements.
• Act as the registered Branch Manager with the Czech National Bank (CNB).
• Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
• Oversee local compliance, risk management, and financial crime prevention activities.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and regulatory reporting.

Partner & Account Management

• Manage and develop key business partnerships and broker relationships.
• Assess business opportunities and ensure alignment with company risk appetite.
• Resolve partner-related issues and support the delivery of high-quality service.
• Oversee account relationships and related documentation.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong background within an insurance intermediary, brokerage, or distribution environment.
• Experience operating within a CNB, EEA, or EU regulated environment.
• Previous experience in a senior leadership or management role.
• Eligibility to be registered as Branch Manager with the Czech National Bank (CNB).
• Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of insurance regulation, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in Czech and English
• Commercial mindset combined with sound risk awareness.
• Strong organisational and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with international teams.
