BAŤA is evolving, and we are strengthening our local merchandising capabilities to support our business strategy and deliver stronger commercial results.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser & Demand Planner to lead our merchandising and allocation in the Czech Republic. This is a key commercial role combining strategic assortment planning, demand forecasting, pricing, inventory management and team leadership.

You will play an important role in ensuring that we offer the right products, at the right prices, in the right quantities and at the right time - maximizing sales, profitability and stock efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandising & Assortment Planning: Lead assortment planning and optimization, aligning the product mix with local market needs and global strategy.
• Demand Planning & Forecasting: Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends and business objectives, ensuring product availability.
• Pricing & Profitability: Drive local pricing strategy, analyze market positioning and margins, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Allocation & Inventory Management: Lead product allocation across the store network, optimizing stock levels, availability and inventory turnover.
• Business Performance & Leadership: Lead and develop the merchandising and allocation team, monitor commercial KPIs, present business insights to senior management and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with local and global teams.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience in merchandising, demand planning or commercial planning, ideally in retail, fashion or footwear.
• Proven team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of pricing, margin management, forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn data into business decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced English and a university degree in a relevant field.
