Senior Controller / Team Leader (manufacturing company in Germany)

Your main tasks:

· Part of senior plant management team and group finance team

· Reporting to the Managing Director on day to day basis and Group CFO as required.

· Close support of the plant operations team (production, sales, quality, finance) with all the corresponding operational KPIs.

· Determination and control of processes in the company (variance analysis)

· Manage small finance team and all related tasks (AR/AP/Cash/VAT taxes etc)

· Ensure the entity maximises working capital through good controls of AR/AP/Inventory

· Preparing the monthly management accounts/reports

· Analysis of cost positions and product margins

· Balance sheet planning and accounting

· Further development and optimization of key figures

· Carrying out cost accounting (standard costing) and cost management analyses

· Carrying out monthly stock and inventory assessments

· Participation in project and investment controlling

· Preparation and presentation of the detailed annual budget and forecasts

· Monitoring and development of the planning and forecasting processes

· Support and collaboration in various special projects

· Liaison with external auditors/tax advisors and other external bodies as necessary

Your profile:

· Qualified accountant/controller [Not sure of DE/CZ qualifications]

· You have at least three to five years of professional experience in the field of controlling, preferably in an international and manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not essential.

· Good MS Office skills will be necessary.

· Use your experience and expertise in a result-oriented manner and know how to communicate convincingly at all levels.

· High level of commitment, flexibility and project-oriented team spirit.

· This is a “hands on” role with requirements to do own work and manage others at the same time.

· Good knowledge of English (German is welcome)
