Who will you be working with?

You will be part of management of the company and lead the team of Site Sourcing Specialists.

How will you make a difference?

  • Develop and Manage the Purchasing Team
  • Define & drive the Purchasing Strategies for both BOM parts and Non Production Related spend, to achieve the targets. Provide the company competitive advantages in the areas of materials, supplies, investments and services.
  • Ensure that KPI committed in the budget for the Plant (Price/PPI, Quality/PPM, Service rate/OTD, Working Capital/T&C’s & Incoming Stocks).
  • Participate proactively to improve the Group performance to make-or-buy analysis and preparation of “ready-to-use” components.
  • Ensure Purchasing support for Projects. Be involved upstream to ensure cost control, planning, and Project needs’ fulfilment.
  • Prepare and execute supplier development strategy in-line with production and customer needs. Monitor supplier performance, provide suppliers with feedback on their performance and manage low performing suppliers. Ensure suppliers have adequate visibility of FTCZ current and future demand and potential changes in demand to properly align Supply Chains.
  • Optimize supplier performance, including continuous improvement, innovations, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership.
  • Participate proactively to improve the Group purchasing performance thanks to good cooperation with others purchasing entities and Manage Eastern Supplier Database.
  • Representing company for negotiation with third party in line with main responsibilities
  • Negotiate commercial conditions with the suppliers

What do we want to know about you?

  • University degree in a technical area
  • Relevant professional experience in the area of strategic purchasing
  • Proven experience with leading a team
  • Excellent English language skills, PC skills (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of Purchasing procedures, standards in Manufacturing companies
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
